An Amended Petition should be filed if any information on the original petition was missing or incorrect at the time of filing.
If any information changes after the filing date, the filer should file the specific event related to that change: i.e. Change of Address, Change of Name, Notice of Conversion, or Motion to Convert, etc.
The court will make updates to the court record when an amended petition is filed.
Step-by-Step Procedure:

Select Bankruptcy>Other

Enter case number and click Next

Select Amended Petition from event pick list and click Next

Select Debtor(s) from party pick list and click Next

The following Reminder screen will appear, click Next

The PDF document selection screen will display - click Browse, View and Attach, click Next

Make a selection from the pick list and click Next

Enter the new or corrected information in the text box(es) and click Next

Case verification screen will appear, click Next

The Final Docket Text screen will display, this is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing

Verify the accuracy of the docket text. If not correct/if correct

Click Next to complete filing process.
The Notice of Electronic Filling will display. It serves as verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the documents.
